Also note the landing. That suspension just failed. Fully failed. Something tells me it was going before this jump and they must have been abusing the truck for awhile.

ReplyDeleteWhile a teenager we got into a buddies old 58 Ford yes it was a tank and ugly as hell. Bubba wanted to jack up his rear end so it would resemble a real Hot Rod so we took the shocks off and put two by fours in the coil springs.
Not content to ride around looking like idiots Bubba after three or four PBR's decided to jump the railroad tracks where the tracks were elevated above the road in kind of a hump.
That Ford sure did jump good but the landing was like falling off a cliff causing the two by fours to fall out of one side and bouncing us up on two wheels I saw purple flashes during the departure from controlled flight and the landing.
It was quite a ride.
I do not recommend it to anyone.
