Ok World of Tanks pros...explain this!

Blow up the above pic and explain to me why the top damage dealing player on my LOSING team didn't end up with high caliber!

I read all the explanations (and yeah Spudman...I'm a tomato) but your previous explanations just don't jive with what I'm seeing above.

Explain please!

  1. This is Andrew Robertson, but I'm using a different account.

I just went to the World of Tanks website for awards here: http://worldoftanks.com/en/content/guide/general/achievements/

The requirements for getting High Caliber might have been changed without my knowing it in the new patch. They are now more stringent from the last time I looked at the rules. In all honesty, I don't know why he didn't get it. Any number of things could have happened. He could have most likely hit a teammate. By the way, damage from accidentally driving into one of your team mates or them driving into you counts as a hit.

  2. I'be already said that in case of your last post to achive High Caliber you must deal 3k+ damage. And that was 8 tier battle with HT. Today's shot of 10 tier battle. 20% of combined enemy hp will be around 4.5-5k damage mark.

    1. what is that based on? 3k damage would mean that you would never see a T6 or 7 with high caliber. and this 20% of combined enemy hp would be astronomical.

what you're saying just doesn't sound valid. NOT AT ALL.

    2. Yes, it is difficult to get HC when not being top tier, but I have done it several times and yes, the games were AWESOME.

btw, I was not call you a Tomato, I was just looking at the tanks that should have done more than 1-shot worth of damage before dying.

  3. Oh you Americans and your disdain for reading...Manyaka is right.

"Awarded to players who dealt the biggest amount of damage during the battle. The damage dealt should be not less than 20% of enemy team tanks' HP sum, and not less than 1000 points. For receiving this award, allies should not be hit with direct shots. If two or more players have an equal amount of damage dealt, the achievement is granted to the player who has earned more XP for battle, including additional XP provided to Premium account users. If the amount of XP is equal as well, the achievement is not granted"
