Quote of the week...

The media and the think tank community is made up of chicken shit cowards who refuse to ask why the US Navy sails circles around the Gulf of Aden while piracy gets worse, and under no circumstances will anyone criticize the Obama administration for an aimless, endless perpetual violence policy in the Indian Ocean. What is the point of continuous military operations without objectives?
Galrahn at Information Dissemination on an "after action" report on the latest atrocity committed by Somali pirates.

  1. Our forefathers knew the answer for piracy, which is to take out the piracy staging ares.

By Doug Burnett did an opinion piece on Fox News titled "To Stop Pirates, Nations Must End Catch and Release Policy" that spoke to this.

I think the President is afraid to get drawn into a Somalia situation(especially during the run up to his reelection bid). The media as usual, given its Liberal bias gives the President a pass on most things...they would rather talk about union rising up against the evil Republicans.

What isn't the Pretender in Chief afraid of? Unless it's something that will benefit him and the rest of his ban of liberals, he's clueless.

2012 can't get here soon enough.

FWIW, I've always felt one requirement to become POTUS is that they have to have served in the military.

  3. its been an eye opening couple of weeks for people that haven't been paying attention.

we have the world's greatest navy and a few barbarians kill some American missionaries on the high seas while an AIRCRAFT CARRIER AND BURKE CLASS DESTROYER ARE HELPLESS!...

Libya burns and all our POTUS does is call for international intervention....

Egypt falls and they ditter trying to decide what to do...

all while these events which were left uncontrolled have caused oil and food prices to spike potentially threatening whatever weak economic recovery we have.

our military is still strong...our economy still has a chance to recover but our leadership is weak...

    very weak.
