Shipping Container Homes. They seem attractive on the surface but once you dig into all the modifications that you have to do to them, they lose their luster fast.
Quite honestly I don't understand why dome homes aren't hot sellers. They stand up to most natural disasters well (tornadoes, wildfires...only floods are a real issue) and once you get past the funky look they really make alot of sense. Oh and consider this. House design hasn't really changed in over 100 years. We use better materials (sometimes), they're more efficient but we really haven't see a leap ahead in home design...at least not yet.
