Houston, TX police responded to a report of an accident and were told that an intoxicated male had struck the vehicle, threatened the female owner of the vehicle with a firearm, then left the scene. 

 An officer located the vehicle and upon arrival observed the suspect inside with a firearm in his lap and his hand on the firearm. The officer then gave verbal commands which were ignored and decided to perform an improvised 9mm JHP ballistics test with glass and the door as intermediate barriers with his Staccato P 2011 wearing a red dot and Surefire X300 weapon light. 

 The suspect was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead saving taxpayers millions of dollars.
