Nineteen members of U.S. Navy SEAL Team 2 will arrive in Campeche, Mexico, on February 15 to train Mexican special forces until April 16. The mission was approved following reports of cartel-operated drones crossing into U.S. airspace, which led to a temporary airspace closure over El Paso and parts of New Mexico. President Claudia Sheinbaum invited the SEALs to bolster Mexico’s capacity to combat cartel violence, framing the cooperation as part of a broader strategy to prepare military and law enforcement forces without allowing foreign intervention.

Oh and believe this 1000%.  SOCOM don't go anywhere without their OWN support system.  So while the SEAL Team might get the headlines you can bet they have at least 100 or more support personnel and maybe even a QRF ready to back them with attached air support including not only transportation but fire support.

Do your own scrolling but people are putting together a pretty reasonable (to my limited knowledge of the stuff) economic reasons behind the attacks and in particular the timing.

Long story short.

Saudi Arabia is being brought back inline according to the theory, Russia is getting crushed, China is being strained because their oil import alliances are falling and the only ones that are gonna get hammered is.....

Europe.

Which Trump appears not to like that much anyway.
