Gnarly ammo from back in the day...



Shooting Illustrated has an old article up about ammo from the past.  This is one round that I kept coming back to...The Pin Grabber.  That is one gnarly looking bullet!  I wonder what it would do to human flesh?

    Such a shame it's not rifled, that bullet would tear through flesh like tunnel boring machine through rock.

    Why would you say it's not rifled? BTW, is that gray area lead or carbide? If lead, it may just look scarier than it really is. You want scary, you should check out what a Federal HST looks like opened up.
