Average Guy World of Tanks ...T69 game play
I'm still trying to work all this stuff out when it comes to publishing videos. I bought the license to bandicam so the watermark will be going away and the vids will include the entire game in the future.
Still trying to figure out how to include the results screen at the end but that'll come with time.
Sidenote; Still laughing my ass off at the Northeast United States and this idiocy with a snow storm. The latest craziness? A REPORTER asked the mayor if bicycle delivery was allowed during the storm! The people in those cities eat out so much that daily food delivery is a way of life? I DON'T GET IT! The NE is definitely different from the rest of the country...well except for probably the West Coast.
Well... to be fair, I can see some geriatric old lady who can't cook for herself and needing helpers starving to death, but that is really an extreme minority.

i haven't wanted to touch on it but is it possible to actually starve in America? i'm being serious here. Ramen noodles are a few cents a pack. not nutritionally ideal, not very tasty but they do provide calories. additionally whats the best indicator of wealth these days? being slim and trim. the fatter you are the greater the chances are that you're either middle or lower class. the truly disabled aren't the target of my barbs. i'm aiming at the healthy that are able to do more than call for take out.

DeleteI thought you stopped playing wot, since last time you posted something about it, looked like it was the last time. And I understand your rage on stupid players, I went from 54% wining rate to 49% in two weeks, thanks to a losing streak that made me stop playing this game.
ReplyDeleteAbout the match, you did what you could, it was not your fault your teammates was a bunch of campers.
About the video : next time you put a text on screen, pause the video, this way will be easier to read. And change the font and font color too... White font on a desert backgrounds is kinda lame to read.
Last but least, what's your PC spec?

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm totally starting to understand what you mean by WOT having it in for the American Tanks. I don't know if you've seen the changes to the 9.6 update that's coming, but some American Tanks, including the M41 Walker Bulldog, are about to get a significant nerf. I stopped playing Encounter and Assault games a LOONG time ago. Just the standard game mode. You might find the game more enjoyable if you do that as well. A good chunk of players in assault/encounter games have no idea what they're doing, so they go south fast. Just uncheck the boxes in Settings>General.

You should seriously consider an upgrade to your rig, 60+ hz refresh rate and decent ping make wonders to your win rate. At 15-20 fps WOT is unplayable.
ReplyDeletei've thought about buying or building a dedicated gaming rig but just can't justify the expense. my current computer handles almost all tasks quite well and only falls short when it comes to gaming. does that sound like something that would justify a $2k outlay? i don't feel its justified. i don't know. i'll think more.

DeleteGames are usually not that CPU sensitive - graphic cards do most of work anyways, and a decent gaming rig that will run WOT very well can probably be assembled for less than 1k.
I play WoT on a rig that was built for less than $800. I get about 30fps with the graphics settings I use with a ping of about 70-80. A decent rig for WoT shouldn't cost more than 600-800 if you choose your parts right and build it yourself.

Andre, what are your PC's specifications?
DeleteI've got a GTX780 powered by an i5, H87 motherboard and 8GB of RAM. Screen is a AOC 28 Inch with 2ms reaction time grey to grey.
I got mine specially to play Battlefield 4 and Rome 2 Total War (big big big fan of strategy since Sid Miers Civilization 1....which I still have and play)
Now patiently waiting for the GTA 5 PC launch.
Mine is i54440, z97 g43 motherboard from msi, 8gb ram, HD6870(I know, I have to change it) from XFX, and a 23 inch monitor from LG.

DeleteFor all you FPS freaks, look up QNIX 2710 MATTE monitor on ebay. Those are fucking awesome - and while being IPS (178 degree view angles and perfect colors), they run at over 100Hz refresh rate.

Between my office and my train station, I pass 6 mini branches of chain supermarkets, 2 local/metros, and a full size aldi.

I'm surprised there isn't a veg box style 24hr ration box I can have delivered to my desk every day with recipe cards.
