Europe will never move ahead when France views Germany as its main rival...

Weird. France is giving the side eye to Germany. Germany is giving the side eye to Poland (and vice versa) and the entire continent can't get on the same page. Europe will never move ahead when ancient anamosities rule the day. Russia isn't the enemy to these people. Russia is a unifier for them. An external enemy to point to in order to unite the others. Sad but apparently true.
