Everyone is trumpeting the far left in Berlin but the far right is nipping at their heels in a major metro area

The governming German party CDU, Merz’s party, is below 5% in MV State elections!

-> This means they would be kicked out do the parliament and don’t have any representation anymore in Mecklenburg Vorommern.

I guess we can't ignore the fact that Mertz's party is so hated that they're gonna get kicked out. But what has me spinning is that the far right is popular outside the major metro areas but apparently are picking up steam inside them too. Germany seems poised to take a turn. It will be fascinating to watch.
