Nature just destroyed those carbon neutral goals...Paris Climate Agreement is a joke now...
A couple of eruptions like this and there is no way man kind can do a thing about so called carbon in the atmosphere. Nature as always trumps us all...BREAKING: Indonesia’s Mount Semeru has explosively erupted, sending pyroclastic density currents — ‘avalanches’ of extremely hot gas and debris — screaming into several valleys.

Exercise Tres Kolos 2022 - Video Production
U.S. Marines with 2d Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, French Marines, with 33e Régiment d'Infanterie de Marine, and Dutch Marines with Netherlands Marine Corps participate in Exercise Tres Kolos in Aruba, Oct. 17-28, 2022. This exercise is organized to enhance integration and relationship building by means of a military competition. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Jennifer E. Reyes) An exercise in Aruba.
The Marine Corps relaxed female hair regs. Did they just become targets?
Put yourself in the shoes of a terrorist.
The US once again deployed its Marines to your country in support of the govt and you're engaged in small unit attacks against them.
What would you look for when engaging them?
Obviously anyone in you could identify as being in charge, comms, heavy weapons and with the new relaxed female hair regs...females?
I think so.
Additionally if I was batshit crazy enough, I'd try and snatch one or two if I could.
I get women in combat. It's a fact of life and that train has left the station.
But I can't help but wonder if we just didn't make them bigger targets on the battlefield. I mean lets be honest. Flowing locks coming from underneath a helmet is gonna grab the eye.
Even worse?
Instead of fitting in, this new reg will make them standout...and in certain situations not in a good way.
Just my two cents. What ya'll think?
II Marine Expeditionary Force M18 Familiarization Course
Note. I am completely mystified that most Police/Sheriff Depts and MANY armed civilians have fully adopted red dots for their pistols (with a major move toward enclosed red dots now) and yet the military, to include the VISIBLE Special Operations teams have not. I know that putting rounds downrange can make up for the additional benefit of a red dot on your pistol but how many units ACTUALLY get that much trigger time? Doing it on your own dime can get pricey (so click on the ads!!!) but we are taking about those tasked with defending the nation, not just their own homes.
PS. They should have bought Glocks. Sigs suck. If they bought the MOS they'd be optics ready out the box, now when they inevitably follow Police/Sheriff/Armed Civilians they're gonna have to either cut the slides or buy new.
