Had a bad day....

This is crazy.

I had a bad day.  Messed around and fractured my ankle, three screws and bed rest.  Been injured before but this hits different...don't know why but it does.

Just plain weird.

Anyway.  I've been slow before but its looking like blogging is gonna be even slower till I get this thing managed.

I'll shake back soon.

Chics dig scars.  Hope they dig screws too!  Below is my theme music and a solid promise.  Never again.  Also.  We go to urgent care they go to critical care!

Ops tempo is back in the news.

This was supposed to be solved long ago. It obviously hasn't. The solution is SIMPLE! The Combatant Commander framework is broken. Time to destroy these little kingdoms inside the Pentagon. If a CC can draw forces they will. Even if its a dog and pony show they'll demand forces! Our current strategy is a sham too. Reassure allies? What a crock! The US is no longer built to provide forces on demand to every ally. Time to prioritize who gets what, inform our allies of the same and get on with winning this century. Unfortunately it appears that the current crop of politicians and generals are determined to piss it all away.

Last night Chicago decided to shit the bed....AGAIN!

This isn't hard. I don't know why some politicians are making it hard. This isn't a debate between freedom and security. It's a debate between lawlessness and civilization. If you embrace lawlessness then you're anti-civilization. It should be understood. If you commit a crime, you go to jail. If you're habitual then you spend your life in jail. Its really that easy.

Trained and Ready Ep. 6 - Disaster Response | U.S. Army

*I consider this another area where the US Army has one up on the Marine Corps. The USMC has in the past (not sure if they're gonna do it in the future...they're already talking about giving up missions for Force Design 2030) conducted HA/DR but its always been overseas. Very rarely here in the states. The Army? They're into it all. At home and abroad.

I give them a feather in cap for this one. In this case the Air Force/Army team is a winner.

Even worse?

Going into the future with the Marine Corps giving up so much heavy equipment, they'll be even less "needed" overseas because even if they can get there first all they can do is add bodies to the work. If that's the case then we will see even more cases where a US Navy ship will show up without Marines to do the do.
