We raised the rhetoric on Taiwan and now China is too. It's military says its prepared to resolutely smash any form of Taiwan independence.
Russia destroys a Patriot Anti-Air System....the tweet itself is telling though...
Did you notice it? Or did you simply take it at face value? It starts by saying that the Russian MOD reported that they destroyed a Patriot. Fair enough. But it then goes on to say that they battery fired 30 of its 30 missiles. How would the Russians know that? If they did then why would they report that? You're seeing a mix here. Haiti will be the next place that the UN sends troops to restore order...
Haiti has been circling the drain for awhile now. Unfortunately things seem to have picked up speed. My prediction? The UN, with goading from the US and Canada will be the next place that the UN sends troops to restore order. I can even see China stepping up to participate and the optics will be such that they will not be turned away. Is this a call for action there? Nope. Just to make you aware that a small percentage of the MONEY (to prop up their govt, pay their bills etc..) to Ukraine would have transformed, well at least stabilized the situation in Haiti.

The worst thing?
Well there are two.
1. This is the worst political crime we've seen in the history of the US. Hillary played a dirty trick and she got away with it. This makes Watergate look like a joke.
2. This whole episode affected our foreign policy. From the start of the Biden administration they took an abnormally hardline. A hardline beyond reason and NEVER gave diplomacy a chance. NOT SURRENDER, but diplomacy.
From my chair, this whole affair ruined lives, was probably a factor in the run up to the war in Ukraine and no one is held accountable.
My solution.
The FBI is too big. Time to break it up.
To carry it a step further, name another DEMOCRATIC nation that has as many federal law enforcement agencies as we do. You do understand that the USA has the equivalent of a FIELD ARMY conducting law enforcement duties (approx 140K).
Its beyond time to strip that number down. Increase local law enforcement cull the feds!

Artillery losses in Ukraine...why is the HIMARS unscathed and the M-777 taking heavy hits?
This is an interesting article and the title to this post is just click bait. Read the article but from my seat it appears that the Ukrainians value certain pieces of kit over others. Did you know that the B-2 Bomber has been grounded for 6 months now? No end to grounding is in sight either!
Alot of speculation is in the thread too, but they left one out. I think the USAF is doing a "divest to invest" ala the USMC. I believe that they're doing the calculated risk and are using this to push for even a more B-21s while not having to fund a fix/flight hours or infrastructure for the B-2.From a 25-yr Mx officer.
