About Afghanistan...
I just really don't know what else to say about this cluster....This page will serve as a temp discussion area on that subject till there is something solid to latch onto with regard to that mess.
Just remember this.
The same military and civilian leadership that brought us this ... idiocy ... are the same individuals that promise to solve the rest of the world's problems.
They're human and I'm sure they did their best.
But they're just human. They have better intel than we do (social media is a powerful tool to know what's happening on the ground though) and have more resources but at the end of the day it comes to individual force of character and resolve.
The Taliban had it.
The Afghan govt didn't.
That's why they fell. To put it simply they had no heart.
