Stryker A1 MCWS: Game Changer
I know the opinion of many but from my seat the Army is doing a good job with the Stryker. They're prioritizing programs and instead of seeking a leap ahead solution they're doing an update.
General Dynamics delivered and they have their steed to ride into the near future.
Considering budgets it ain't a bad solution.
MAGTF Warfighting Exercise....pics by Pfc. Patrick King
That is a HELLUVA lot of AAVs parked in the California Desert.
Seems like Berger was true to his word. The 2nd MARDIV is running the biggest tactical exercise in a couple of decades?
This has to be part of the experiments that he was talking about with the new concepts being explored.
If the USMC can actually look at this work objectively without preconceived notions and is willing to toss what doesn't work then we're burning with gas.
Confidence isn't high but it is rising.
We'll see what we see.

It has begun. US reviewing plans to evacuate nukes from Turkish Air Force Base.
The @nytimes reports that the US is finally "reviewing plans" to flush the WS3 nuclear weapons storage vault at Incirlik Air Base in #Turkey. The B61 nuclear gravity bombs are still there. pic.twitter.com/Hga2eMrAFR— Ankit Panda (@nktpnd) October 14, 2019

KF-X mockup looks real, doable and practical...
Thanks to Petrus for the pics...
This makes so much sense to me. Stealth treatment without going full stealth. The payoff should be high performance, high agility, outstanding range and a more than decent payload.
Additionally if they're following the Navy's "payloads over platforms" scheme then not only will it be practical, but also affordable.
This is just a neat design.
I hope the S. Korean's can pull this off. If they can then I bet it turns into an export SUPER STAR!

Turkish atrocities in Syria now have a face. Hevrin Khalaf.

Predicted either a quick heat up or quick resolution to this crisis. Might have been a bit wrong on that one. More on that in a later blog post. But back on task. You might have to do a translate to read the above tweet but the face of Turkish atrocities in Syria now have a face.
My bigger problem.
All these little extremist groups running around Syria being used by everyone are hard to keep on the leash.
Turkey didn't and now they have a symbol to be used against them in the form of the savage killing of this lady.
Turkey seriously miscalculated. I don't know their goals or rationale behind this op but they're gonna pay a long lasting price for this military adventure.
