Nothing like the sting of failure (in the form of the KC-46) to focus the mind of defense procurement & corporations to get it right the next time up.
Hopefully this will carry on to the soon to arrive (but not soon enough) replacement for the F-35.

German Army's Wiesel Replacement (Concept)
Looks neat but I have two questions. Why would you make the turret manned? The second is questioning the firepower. That looks like another 20mm cannon. If you're not going bigger then why even bother?
The vehicle itself? Looks fantastic! I kinda get why MilTwitter is going nuts over this thing (and by MilTwitter I mean the armored vehicle section).
