AV-88 Harriers during Noble Fusion

That Special Ops raid. I wonder if Turkey actually supported that effort?

I'm sure everyone has heard about that Special Ops raid into Northern Syria.  Good guys ok, civilians unfortunately dead but the good news is the supposed "big bad" is dead too.

What has me spinning (and its why I love having readers from all over the globe) is that Alpay dropped a little tidbit about Turkey launching a massive artillery strike.  Shortly thereafter we hear about this raid.

Could they be connected?

I know I'm grasping at straws but there are no coincidences...

Jungle Survival...by Lance Cpl. Yvonne Iwae

Marine Infantry is being worked hard in a bunch of exercises but I still don't see how they fit into the strategy. Providing security for arty? Artillery is gonna provide their own security and the idea is as small a footprint as possible right? Same applies to the rest of the GCE. Outside of missiles I just don't see where it all fits. The amazing thing is that the air wing has always been the main contributor to the naval fight while Marines seized territory. That idea seems to have been flipped and only the ground component is being jacked around with. Additionally the Navy still doesn't have its act together. We're tying ourselves to a service that is without a doubt adrift. Berger's messaging has been pathetically bad. He is rushing hard because he knows resistance exists and he wants as much in place as soon as possible in the hope that it can't be reversed. World events, the US economy and a horribly weak President will doom those plans. If he wants to succeed in his mission then he needs more than his sycophants to be on board. He needs to get the entire team to buy into his vision. He is ignoring that to his own peril. It's 101 of why change agents fail. They don't get buy in from those they lead.

American citizens need this training too. Sooner rather then later. You won’t change my mind.

I normally agree with this guy but on this issue we part ways. Look at this group.  I'm asking you to be judgemental so don't shy away from it.

There is a reason why we HAD a category of so called "fighting age" males.

This group don't fit that description.  It's not like the primitives we've been engaging with either.

If you live rough you get rough.  Living with little food, no luxuries in the real sense of the word (TV, telephones, hell even decent boots) and many times having to survive in the elements makes a special kind of tough.

Barring that then physical fitness of the highest degree simply to handle the stress of the fight is essential.

I don't see that in these pics.

I do see a bunch of amateurs that will try hard and die ugly.

I hope to God there isn't war in Europe.  If there is then these people will get slaughtered.

How is that tied at the hip to the Navy working out? 3000 troops deploying, another 8500 on standby and not one US Marine to be seen!

Boy that littoral combat scheme is just swell ain't it?  3500 troops are deploying, another 8500 on standby and not one US Marine unit is on the battle roster.

The EABO concept works everywhere?

Apparently not.  It would seem that US Marines aren't invited to this party.  Additionally we can expect to see a return to the Middle East if Putin invades so we'll be stuck to that region in ANOTHER fight for oil (even while the current administration pushed its green agenda).

I would love to see us return to our roots.  How about we return to the idea of "any clime and place"?

Has everyone forgotten Belleau Wood?

If this is true then the Ukrainians have lost their damn minds!

Are you fucking kidding me?

The Ukrainians have lost their damn minds if this is true!  A young female (or even male) child being sent to war (if it breaks out) is absolutely batshit stupid.

The West has so glamorized war that this could even be on the table is a mindfuck.

The reality?

She'll be savaged for x-amount of time then killed.

Women in combat?  The reality of it is stark.  Hard to read about and probably mind shattering to see.

I don't know where this is going but if this "propaganda" is suppose to rally the people then the people aren't worth our efforts, our money or our gear.

Hey guys! You know a good Twitter, Instagram, Tik-Tok, VK or other site that's putting out good military info then share it!

You think I'm a blogger?

Naw I'm more of a seeker of information.  I like to see what's going on (at distance unfortunately) and ferret out the truths that they don't want us to see/know.

Alot of blogger are out there hustling to find it.  Unfortunately many platforms are shutting them down for dubious reasons.

I hate that shit.

The easiest way to kill the truth in this day and age is to label it misinformation.  Many glob onto that missive because it supports them in not having to see an awful truth about something they hold dear.

I get it.  Still despise it.

My point?  If you know a few good sites that are being used and abused by the media and not getting proper credit then send it my way and we'll all help amplify it.  If we fail in doing that then we'll at least win by spreading word about them.

Oh and to be clear.  THIS AIN'T JUST USA sites.  I want a world wide smattering of information.

I've watched what happened in the UK and I'm a bit peeved.  They once had a very vibrant military community and its been killed.  Time to support fellow travelers world wide guys.

So let me end this rant and tell me what ya got!
