About those chemical attacks in Mariupol...

I've read about the use of chemical attacks in Mariupol.  Want the quick and dirty?

AZOV is making the claim.

The news media is calling them far right.  That's not quite accurate.

They're freaking Nazis.

You know it.  I know it.  The news media knows it.

This is what I mean about the Western public needing more visibility on this thing.

Additionally I'm also hearing that it was phosphorus from a drone. That changes things dramatically.  Its used to mark targets.

With regard to the war in Ukraine we're in the land of mirrors.  We don't know what we're looking at and we're being steered toward conclusions simply on the basis of NOTHING!

Short rant. Everyone is so focused on the war in Ukraine that you're missing the economic danger that is just over the hill

I have gone from amused to just short of raging.

The propaganda, aided by US media, is in full press mode about the war in Ukraine.

If you follow this blog then you know that I've posted a few articles that talk about the economic danger that's just over the hill and headed our way fast.

The war in Ukraine will be what it will be.

But if you think that the war in Ukraine is the threat to world order then you're smoking crack.

From the Pacific, to S. America, over to Africa and the Middle East the world is turning into a powder keg.  Correction.  It's becoming an even bigger powder keg than it was before.

We haven't seen the bad stuff yet but we could be looking at horror upon horror that will touch the West in ways that the Ukraine conflict never will.

Govts will be toppled and replaced by radicals.  Starvation will become even more wide spread.  Energy prices will consume HUGE portions of the average persons budget.  Food prices will alter us in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago.

All that and I haven't taken into account a surge in covid...AGAIN!

Many have become so inflamed and so preoccupied with Ukraine that they're missing the real danger that is coming at us all.

Watch Ukraine if you must (I do ... even though I don't think its our fight), but ALSO watch the world economy.

Economic conditions can spark wars and we're seeing horrible economic conditions.

The Motor Rifle (BTR) squad

Question. Have you ever seen the same for a Chinese motorized unit? Have you seen something that covers the Chinese version of the MEU? ARG? CBG? This is the problem! We have the tick tock for Russian forces and suspected capabilities of most of their weapon systems are widely and easily available. The same can't be said of Chinese systems. THAT IS WHY THE TILT TO THE PACIFIC IS A JOKE!

White House warns of "extraordinarily elevated" inflation data.

Recession is almost certain. I wonder if deflation is a concern? From what I've read inflation can be tamed (after a bit of suffering by the citizenry) but if deflation takes hold it can spiral out of control beyond normal corrective measures.

How many of you knew about this? Peru Deploys Army to Control Violent Protests Disrupting Exports

 via Reuters

Peru's government on Thursday ordered its armed forces to supervise the country's highways for the next month, amid crippling protests nationwide over rising food and fuel prices.

The country has been beset by road blockades for over a week as anger has flared over rising costs, which have spiked since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Peru is facing its highest inflation rate in a quarter century.

President Pedro Castillo has scrambled to come with meaningful solutions. This week he declared a curfew in Lima to try to stifle dissent which thousands defied, taking to the streets in protests that turned violent.

My fear?

No one is talking about stuff like this but the most vulnerable countries are feeling it first...but WE WILL GET OUR TIME IN THE RING!

Imagine how Americans will react to 8 dollar a gallon gas.  To the fact that fast food for a single person costs 20 bucks.  When we see armed robberies of grocery stores not for money but for beef and produce because its no longer profitable...or in the south when you see cattle rustling come back into fashion?

Its gonna get ugly.

Its already ugly in parts of the world.

Remember you heard it here first.

Sidenote.  Think about all of the above in conjunction with more covid lockdowns because the disease hits us with an unexpected wave this summer. The protests before the election might look like kids play.  Ugly might not describe it.

Ukrainian marines in Mariupol: "Today will probably be the last battle...It's death for some of us, and captivity for the rest..

Note 1. AFP is NOT a Russian propaganda site!

Note 2.  We are not getting the full view of this war.  MSM paints the picture that the Ukrainians are winning...and decisively. We need better visibility (untainted) of this war!

As America continues its obviously inevitable decline, I wonder if we will look at our nuclear arsenal as the saving grace to the future security of this nation? Wouldn't it be ironic if we reached a state where we weren't attacked because those that look at our resources with a glint in their eye feared nuclear hellfire if they attempted it...not our conventional military?

China conducted a drill involving a swarm of loitering munitions

Are you seeing this?

Are you putting together what this means for the New Marine Corps ie..Marine Littoral Force?

It means that in order to actually make this thing work (as Berger intends), they're going to have to shed the rest of the infantry, probably cannon artillery and massively plus up anti-air defense AND anti-ship missile units.

With Berger's desire to engage in the sea battle that also means an increase in ISR across the board and probably a big push into electronic warfare.

In order for the dream of Force Design 2030...to make the Marine Littoral Force work, it means that it will require the organization to change beyond our recognition.

Case the colors.  Rebrand the Marine Corps to Marine Littoral Force.

Make a clean break and do not link it to this new organization.

Chinese shipments to Russia via Y-20 continue for a second day

I'm extremely curious as to how they know what is being sent...maybe the Chinese themselves released the information?

I don't think it matters what is being shipped.  What matters is that the Chinese are engaging via Russia.

Those sneaky Chinese bastards.

The Western Govts along with the media has run a full court press on this conflict.  Critical thinking is not allowed.  Dissenting views are not allowed.

So we presented the Chinese with an opportunity.

The longer the EU/US/NATO are focused on the conflict in Europe (and I'm sure they've noticed that American foreign policy has a decidedly European bent to it), the longer sap our strength, can act without notice and cause the threat (to them) powers to shoot themselves in the foot.

Besides.

If this short war drags out then it benefits China greatly.

I never put much stock into the idea that WW3 has started like so many claim but I'm starting to waiver a bit.

I don't know if we're seeing the start of WW3, but I definitely believe we're seeing the seeds being planted, watered and fertilized for that conflict in the near future.

The Insanely Difficult Standards of History’s Hardest P.E. Program via Art Of Manliness

 via AOM

To stem the physical deterioration of his fellow Americans and promote the idea of developing a sound mind, in a sound body, JFK utilized the President’s Council on Physical Fitness to reinvigorate physical education programs around the country, and looked to La Sierra as an example of what was possible in this line.

-----

The La Sierra System had been developed by WWII-veteran Stan LeProtti, who was inspired by the classical, “whole man” approach to fitness that had been championed by the ancient Greeks. LeProtti’s program sought to improve the strength, agility, balance, flexibility, power, and endurance — as well as the leadership qualities — of all the males in the student body, not just those relatively few boys who participated in organized athletics. The program not only incorporated physical exercise — a regimen that included an intense 12-minute calisthenic warm-up, sports, games, dance, combatives, gymnastics, running, aquatics, and off-the-ground work on various apparatuses like peg boards — but also involved regular meetings to talk about the philosophy — the why — behind it. Students were taught that the fitness routines in which they engaged not only built their bodies, but prepared their minds for learning and their spirits for tackling life’s setbacks.

This is how far off track America is.  Now if you enjoy working out you can't simply enjoy working out.  No!  Now you get a "phobic" attached to you because of something you enjoy. We are so fucked.  I never knew it but apparently there is now "scientific" research into fatphobia!  We're not just fucked.  We're proper fucked!
