This is what could go wrong! 

If I'm tracking things correctly, Germany is seeing double digit increases in inflation every month since July. 

This will not end well. 

The only reassuring thing about this is that civilians will finally face the consequences of war. Despite all efforts to keep conflict confined to areas far from the West, the reactions of leadership are ensuring that populations AT HOME (I keep replaying Bush Jr responding to a reporters question about how Americans can help with the war effort and he said "go to the mall" or go shopping...such a lost opportunity to unite the country over a common goal!) will feel the full force of hyper aggressive foreign policy. At the end of all this perhaps we'll see revitalized State Depts worldwide.

War/conflict/military action is always an answer.

Sometimes though its not the CORRECT answer.  The West needs to relearn diplomacy and pair the big sticks with carrots.
