Nick Chubb is a BEAST!

Boxer CRV-RECON Block II

The Ukrainians are burning thru artillery shells at a horrific rate...

We are down to two choices. Either we supply Ukraine with the understanding that our industry will struggle to meet their needs OR we take care of our own forces.

It's just that simple.

I vote we take care of our own.

An empire must be willing to trade space for time.  It must choose the survival of the empire over that of its protectorates.

The American empire must come first.

26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)’s Maritime Special Purpose Force conduct a live-fire range aboard USS Bataan

* Wonder if the Marine Corps tested the barrel length and found the 11in barrel on the H&K A5 to be optimal for a shorty or did they just pull it out their ass. Always been told that 14.5 is as short as you want to go for an all around battle rifle in 5.56 and any shorter was for special applications.

26th MEU heads to the Gulf. Are they doing crisis response or are they going to "sense" and "make sense"?

 via Military Times

The U.S. is sending additional warships and thousands of Marines to the Middle East to increase security in the wake of Iranian attempts to seize commercial ships there.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Thursday approved the deployment of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Gulf region, according to U.S. officials. The readiness group consists of three ships, including the Bataan, an amphibious assault ship. An expeditionary unit usually consists of about 2,500 Marines.

Here

I bet the bitch ass staff officers that came up with FD2030 are wetting themselves right now.

You can also bet the 26th MEU won't be doing traditional MEU work. They can't.  The MEU has been stripped to the bone (at least the GCE), so what is the Marine Corps left with?

A butched up Stand In Force on float.  They will "sense" and "make sense".

In other words they're gonna land on a few islands and setup their Coast Watcher bullshit.

This is a dog and pony show for the 26th MEU that might kick shit off.  The Iranians will test these dudes and might even lob some missiles.

I don't think this will go the way they think.

The Fourth Turning — How History’s Crisis Period Could Unfold via Art Of Manliness

 via AOM

While studying history back in the 1990s, Neil Howe and the late William Strauss noticed something: there seemed to be a pattern to history that repeated itself again and again. Howe and Strauss developed a theory that history moves in 80-100-year cycles divided into four 20-25-year “turnings”: the High, Awakening, Unraveling, and Crisis.

Neil Howe argues that we are currently living through a Fourth Turning, and today on the show, we unpack what that means. Neil is a historian, demographer, and economist, and his latest book is The Fourth Turning Is Here. The crisis of the Fourth Turning isn’t a historical event — it’s a generation-long era that sometimes seems to be getting better, sometimes seems to be getting worse, and moves through several phases before reaching a climax and resolution.

Ukraine Victory Over Russia Is 'This Year or Never': U.S. Veteran in Kyiv (MUST READ)

Thanks to Noble for the link!

Note.  This US veteran is echoing many of the things I've been saying on this blog for months.  He says this year or never?  It won't be this year.

Via Newsweek

It's going to be one of those forever wars," Kramer—who served the U.S. military for 26 years in locations including Afghanistan, Bosnia, Congo, Iraq, and Kosovo—said.

The Russians have had months, if not years, to develop defense in depth. And the same things that were working against the Russian army—whether it's logistic lines, or logistic hubs, or these directed fires from the Ukrainians—also work against the Ukrainians when they're on the offense."

+

"You always have to look at logistics and political will," the veteran added. "You can already see that the amount of stuff the West has given to Ukraine is depleting the West's ability to maintain a ready posture. I see it getting worse as the year goes on. I think less and less will be coming in."

At the July 11-12 NATO summit, Czech President Petr Pavel said Kyiv's "window of opportunity" to liberate land may close by the end of 2023, as worse weather and political conditions combine to increase pressure for negotiations with Moscow.

"I agree with the statement that it's this year or never," Kramer said.

+

"There's a lot of casualties," Kramer said. "I've got some of my guys working a casualty collection point. And I don't want to say numbers, because it's all just anecdotal, but they're seeing triple the amount of casualties they saw a few months ago. It's pretty horrific."

+

"The Ukrainians, their logistics are still very ad hoc," he said. "They rely a lot on their own rail systems too. So even if there is a breakthrough, the ability to push enough troops, reserve forces, and artillery forward is just not quite there."

I wonder what the Chaplain and the Officer assigned says to his family? I feel sorry for them and I feel for him. The Norks are beating the dogshit outta him and it'll be a mercy if he either dies quickly or somehow they can get him back quickly. In a case like this (IMO) every hour spells doom. WTF was he thinking...

Don't want to deploy, PT or deal with anything "military" while in the military? Go trans and the DoD is yours!

Thanks to Cogitans Iuvenis for the link!

NOTE. Easier just to share it on Twitter and then you guys follow the link to get to read the madness.

The trans movement within the gay movement is gonna setback the entire movement.

Trans people are just pushing too far and their enablers are not setting limits.  The American people will soon enough.

The DoD is screwed though.  You have generals that know better that are sanctioning this shit.  Fuck them all and I hope their children serve so they can feel the full force of their decisions.
