The IDF soldiers killed in action were riding in a Namer when it was hit with an anti-tank missile....the Namer is the most heavily armored IFV in the world and has Trophy anti-missile system

I know. They were riding in the Combat Engineer Version of this vehicle but what I stated in the title remains. We don't know the details of the fight so maybe the Hamas terrorist dogs simply overwhelmed the system AND the vehicles armor by ripple firing a high number of missiles at an individual vehicle (or one that was operating solo assuming that the system from other vehicles give "group" protection) and that's how they got thru...but from my chair this is still disturbing.

I know ANY vehicle can be defeated and even if we pumped up an IFV to 100 tons it could still be knocked out.

Perhaps I'm looking at this wrong.

How do we classify Hamas?  They're more than a terrorist group. The even more than a hybrid group that has funding of a power (although we know Iran is sending them weapons via the funds that Obama and Biden returned to them).

They're not quite a national army but much more than the now legacy thinking of a hybrid force.

As you can tell I'm thinking about this thing while I type.

Every loss of an Israeli soldier is mourned.  Every loss of an Israeli soldier is a propaganda victory for the Hamas dogs.

Why?

Because I for a second bit into the propaganda that they're putting out.

For a micro second I bit, and for much much much longer than that the supporters of Hamas are biting on the idea of them being a simple group of "freedom" fighter.  Basic guerillas.

That's not even in the same galaxy of being true.

The Palestinian people might be poor, but Hamas is a well funded army of evil zealots that must be destroyed to the last man.

If we're looking at this thing properly then it must be acknowledged that Hamas at the start of this thing was probably capable of toppling several Arab govts in the region.

Considering capabilities I'm almost surprised that casualties haven't been heavier.  Additionally I have to wonder where they're getting their intel from.  

Lastly do you remember them capturing a few Merkavas and Namers on Oct 7.  I wonder if they were able to suss out weak spots that quickly.

Disgusting but we're heading to the same place. The military is for the working class and poor even here. The upper class/elites just like to play with lives. If you'll notice the USA was winning wars when even the rich had to participate in the life and death game. Now? Now its more a social thing where weirdness is allowed and traditional values are frowned upon. Since the country isn't entirely made up of freaks (not yet), of course no person with a lick of sense would recommend military service to a young man of worth. That's why when we get in the next fight for survival you'll see "recruiters" on the streets of America just like you see in Ukraine. It's disgusting there and it'll be disgusting here.

Biden is degrading dramatically

 

Note. I've seen alzhiemers up close and it ain't pretty. To be frank its downright disturbing. To watch it is to be a witness to living agony. I might be being dramatic but a family member suffered from it and it was terrible to see. But back on task. I hope this isn't altered. If it isn't then listen to his voice. This dude is in shit state. He's degrading dramatically which is kinda worisome. I've seen that part of this thing too. People who suffer this are basically fucked. The decline is slow and if you aren't paying attention or if you're fooling yourself you can find reasons to downplay it. The problem is that at some point, if you're paying attention, the slow decline becomes a fall off the cliff. I think we're about to see that fall off the cliff. In my case it happened in a month. After that it could no longer be ignored and even those that were trying to downplay it had to come to grips with reality. America is about to have to come to grips with reality. Our president is in decline and will soon fall off the cliff.

They look awful clean for the conditions I've seen. Don't see them wearing any gear, not even plate carriers, no weapons visible etc...Ordinarily I say this is propaganda, but I'll be generous this time. If this is reality then WTF. Did they conscript the son and he was "special" so the dad decided to go to try and see him thru it? Don't know. One thing is certain and I've been saying this for months. THIS THING NEEDS TO BE TURNED OFF. We're seeing a complete multi-generational kill. There will be no "winners", only those that are left alive.

The elite, the powers that be, the idiots that believe they can shape the world are using normal people to push their abnormal agenda.

Anyone with a lick of sense will want this to stop.

A "Ukraine tax" is being proposed in Germany

If they try this in ANY Western nation you will have citizens going nuts. In an indirect way (easily hid from the sheeple), we're already being taxed for Ukraine. Another tax on top of it and its lights out for the "elite". Try this in America and you will have a tax rebellion. We're on knife edge anyway and this would push it over the top.

That secret war in Syria needs MUCH more coverage. 1st the Kurds were claiming that the Turks nuked them, 2nd the Kurds attacked a Turk Commando base, & now we have massive airstrikes by the Turks...

I so want our SecDef to win, but he ain't. What will he be remembered for?

I so wanted General Austin to win. I wanted him to have a great tenure as SecDef but I honestly had questions about him, his selection, etc...from the start. What will he be remembered for? The evacuation from Afghanistan? The allowing of weirdness in the military? Continued trouble integrating women into combat arms with further agitation aroudn "gender neutral" physical fitness tests (the very idea is idiocy on a plate)? I have trouble pointing to any win. Can ya'll help me out?

So the French Navy is back in the US led coalition (sorta....really not but sorta)

This is for visuals. The French are going their own way. But this little episode points to the bigger problem the US military has. All of this partnership bullshit, all the alliance and tech sharing....all the reassurance missions are all UTTER FUCKERY! It was a failed concept from the beginning and shows that our military has been in a world of make believe and not reality. That my friends is dangerous. If our military leadership is being swayed by pixie dust and good feelings then they're not fit to lead.

France, Italy and Spain withdraw from Operation Prosperity Guardian, refusing to put their warships under U.S. command.

 

I hope US policymakers and defense officials are paying attention. These countries all knew what this was about. Putting together a coalition to stop Houthi piracy. Did these small navies (looking at you France) believe that they would lead the armada? Apparently cause this makes no sense. But look at the bigger picture. If they won't put their ships under our command to fight some piss ant pirates what would they do against China? The partnership idea is dead. NATO is fucking useless. All NATO does is drain funds, add bureaucracy and helps convince Europe that they don't have to defend themselves. Stop the insanity. Stop the idiocy. They won't help against the Houthis and they damn sure won't help against China. Deal with it. Accept the reality and plan accordingly.

IF I make it to heaven I'm gonna ask God why he would allow a child to born with this condition. It just ain't fair. I'm not talking about being turned down for your dream job or not getting a date but REALLY unfair. God bless this kid. If this ain't a wake up call nothing is. As bad as things might be, at least you're not dealing with this shit. If you even have a portion of health you are beyond blessed.

Now let me hit you with a moral conundrum.

You say you're against abortion?

I do.

How about in this case?  For me?  It's a mindfuck.  Taking a moral stance is easy, but it can get real tricky real quick once real life hits.

This child will have NO CHANCE at a normal life.  He will not be able to go to school without causing massive disruption.  He will never date.  I don't know his life expectancy but it can't be long.

Would it have been moral for his mother to have an abortion or would it be a sin?

The SEC has the other conferences destroying themselves trying to compete

The SEC has destroyed the entire landscape of college football. Everyone is trying to compete with the SEC and everyone is getting wrecked trying to do it. I would normally be proud but its getting to the point where the SEC needs to make a clean break and simply play an in house tournament and invite select teams to play in it and decide a national champ.

If Florida State leaves, with Clemson sure to follow then the ACC joins the PAC-12.  It's dead as disco.
