American companies get the same info that they say the Chinese are collecting and they're selling it to all sorts of outfits.
No one cares.
But I'm suppose to be up in arms because the Chinese have an app (one that I don't use) that does the same thing? Like they really give a fuck what 99% of Americans are up to on the net?
They have penetrated our water supply, our electrical distribution plants, our medical records, our defense dept, they've been inside most of our critical infrastructure and I'm supposed to be worried about the private data they're hunting on the 1%?
Something about the whole Tik Tok thing really never made sense.
To be blunt it looks like a backdoor attempt to push for bans and registration on the net.
Never once did the Congress critters fully explain why we needed to ban Tik Tok. The other thing that makes it suspicious is that it was an across the isles majority vote.
Yeah the Tik Tok thing is weird.
