It’s not that we’re hardcore. It’s just that most people are mediocre. Like water, they’ll often flow through the path of least resistance, the easiest, least complex path to the largest reservoir where everyone is.

In the course of pursuing excellence, your actions & intentions will be misunderstood time and time over again. You pave opportunities & set your own circumstances. But you will make mistakes, you will fuck up despite your best effort at times.

And mediocre folks LOVE it when you fail because they want to live in a fairy tale where the bar is set low and good enough will do.

Remember, if you want to make enemies, try to change something.

Prepare to be misunderstood.
