Ok. This one I kinda get. Its a nugget thrown to his Christian Conservative base. For years Muslim extremist have been killing Christians in Africa. YEARS! I'm not sure if it stretches back to Trump 1 but I do know it was happening during the Biden years. Regardless. If they can keep this an aerial campaign without putting troops on the ground then I'm for it. Put troops on the ground and I get skittish. AFRICA IS HUGE! Logistics...resupply, evacuation etc...is gonna be a bitch. The only way to do Africa on the ground is to setup MANY firebases....I'm talking about bases big enough to at least land C-130s, while at the sametime expecting every radical in the region to be attacking on a daily. Troops on the ground? Doable but fraught with danger.
