Wait! How many classified units do we have. In the rescue of the downed F-15 pilot its said that ANOTHER classified Air Force unit flew in to get them out!

The two men that rescued downed F-15E weapons systems officer "Dude 44 Bravo" in Iran were Pararescuemen, “PJs,”reportedly from the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, the Air Force's tier one unit under Joint Special Operations Command.

When a PJ finally reached him on that ridgeline, Bravo says it was one of the greatest moments of his life. His own words to his rescuer: "Let's go." Even then it wasn't over. The rescue aircraft got stuck in the sand, stranding the entire team until a separate, classified Air Force unit had to be brought in to evacuate everyone.

Ok so I guess we can assume that it was STS cause if it was then it could be mentioned.

So what separate, classified Air Force unit do we have?

Do they fly "skunk work specials" and have their own unique aircraft that aren't seen by the public?

Is there a designation above Tier 1 that everyone masterbates too?

What if SOCOM and Tier 1 isn't the top of the spear but just the beginning????
