From the Colonel.

 At the time of writing, what is known is this (this may change as the situation develops):

1. Six people have been killed and 15 wounded (including two police officers, one of whom is in critical condition).

2. The gunman was a 24-year-old Polish citizen of Polish nationality.

3. Initial evidence suggests that he was a lone wolf with extreme right-wing views.

4. The gunman was NOT a soldier.

5. It was initially indicated that he held a gun licence, but it is not clear whether it covered this particular gun. Given how restrictive Polish gun laws are, it is very unusual for someone to have an AR-type weapon. Not impossible, but this remains to be determined. One theory suggests that his father had this weapon registered as a collector's item.

6. The gunman was wounded and is in custody.

That's a big body count.  Whoever is associated with this guy better be getting their shit together in a heartbeat.  That's assuming it ain't too late already.

The Poles are gonna be FERAL in their dealings with this.
