Have they done any actual carrier landings with this plane yet?
Not yet - probably mid-late 2011 for the F-35B (VTOL) and the F-35C carrier CARQUALs 2012-13.The schedule is a bit elastic, so there's no real reliable timetable yet.
Carrier quals are going later on this year!....F-35B will be doing work ups on a LHA/LHD this year too.
