Navy Combat Camera get's some!

Wow.  Who knew that these guys and girls get the good gear?

    Well, when no one is shooting back anyway.
    What version of the M-16 does the Navy use? I think they had CAR's at one point.
    This looks like a full length handguard (or almost) and mid-length gas system on what, an 11-inch barrel? Can't put an M203 on it, but do they need that for their board and search Ops?

  2. I'm not sure what model that is. I know I've seen Air Force Para-Rescue using the same model but why would Combat Camera need something that high speed???? I would think that a regular M4 would be more than adequate.

    Don't look now but next thing you know civilian shooters will be claiming that this is the next big thing and the gun makers will make another killing and push up prices on another piece of questionable gear.
