AH-1Z. Why isn't it in Afghanistan yet?



I'm a big supporter of the AH-1Z and UH-1Y project...but....why hasn't the AH-1Z made it into battle yet?  The UH-1Y is getting its first taste of battle but the AH-1Z remains a work in progress.  What gives?

    An issue with its targeting system appeared during it's operational evaluation in 2008, that pushed back the ISD until 2011.

    its not performing that much better than the the ah-1w model.
