  1. Ok this is like getting a new truck say a F-150? They streched the LCAC going from 60 to 74 ton payload that is good, but its like going from a 3/4 tont to one ton pickup, ok. They put in modern engines and other systems that would be expected. That is all well and good BUT....

    The propulsion system is STILL an in-line geared type. Current LCACs play bumper cars going up the chute. Is this an improvement?

    Where are the azimuthing thrusters that would allow better directional control?

    Where is the modern diesel electric plant? Geared thrusters sounds like a step backwards?

    Ahh not to mention IOC is in FY19 - nine years from now!! And they started at least 3 yrs ago when N85 told me what his intentions were.
