After several polls showed Marine Le Pen more than holding her own against rivals in a hypothetical presidential match-up, FRANCE 24 sat down with the far-right leader for a wide-ranging interview touching on Europe, immigration and nuclear energy.Read the whole thing...and bear in mind I have no visibility on internal French politics but this is...stunning.

Oh and before you say that I'm being conspiratorial...think about the speed at which this came together. Think about the idea that China AND Russia would both abstain on this...
There's more to this than meets the eye.
Just read her whole election stances, (kinda what it sounds like). She has good points, her stance on immigration is right on the money. I've no problem with immigrants, if we want to keep America strong, shouldn't people coming into America have something to offer our great country?
ReplyDeleteToo close to home for comfort. Think of this as an armed revolt (and a likely regime change) at your doorstep, eg in Cuba or Venezuela.

ReplyDeletedon't give me too much credit yet...i still think Sarkozy's political problems are playing a part in this...i just don't know anyone from France so i don't know what there papers are saying...time to go to France24 and get an update.
