  1. that's just great. I thought and read that our drones have a built in recovery program so that when a pilot loses control the software takes over and returns it to it's base. What happened here? What about a self destruct? Just a bad week for air power overall.

  2. Well the good thing that whole drone is off the shelf, nothing to (grain of salt) new. Now we will see versions in China, russia and maybe iran

  3. without a doubt a bad week. i thought like you did that they had a self destruct, but this has me thinking. supposedly the Israeli's did a trojan horse attack by allowing one of their drones to be captured...followed it on hi resolution whatever and when they got it to the suspected engineers they detonated a hidden explosive.

could this be a more advanced trojan type thing to get the Chinese and Russians on the wrong track?

  5. Too bad that we don't have a stealth strike aircraft that we could had launch and nuke the drone. With the Raptor being a mantle queen and the JSF in limbo maybee we should had not retired the f117.

Seems that we're making a case for next gen systems by littering the world with top secret aircraft. Maybee well crash the Aurora into a massage house in Beijin or crash a Raptor into Putin's garage.
