have you heard any updates about changing the weapons bay a bit to fit new missiles instead of a JDAM or one missile to increase its compliment?
To fit what new missile?The only plan I am aware of is the fitting of 6 AAMs for Blk5. This may or may not apply to the F-35B.
Perhaps he is referring to Norway's ASM? http://www.kongsberg.com/en/kds/products/missile%20systems/jointstrikemissile/Just guessing.
The JSM will fit into the existing bay, no need to change.
