Sol, they do this event every year, no joke I've done 3 of them. It's a good thing, shows capabilities and what we are to congress and their staff. It's a good thing and has.paid off in the past. Congress is important.

ReplyDeleteif they were really interested in USMC capabilities they would have done like a couple of real USMC backers and showed up at Bold Alligator. or they'd fly down to Lejeune...or Pendleton...or fly over to Afghanistan. they wouldn't wait for a scripted event at Quantico. truth be told they should shut down that base and move the whole outfit to Lejeune.
To be fair, these people are staffers. They don't run the show. They don't decide what to do.
Deleteyou haven't had any dealings with Congress have you? if you really want something done you don't saddle up to the Congress critter you saddle up to the head staffer.
