Special Ops takes aim at Obama....

Wow.

If you thought these guys are good at direct action then you should see them when they get started in the realm of politics!

Austin Bay penned an article at Strategy Page that pointed me to their website and I fully expect the White House to be taking full frontal assaults within the next few days!

Check them out for yourself.

  1. Wow, throwing their hat in the ring for a guy who got a deferment so he could go to France and convert Mormons while less fortunate kids were getting drafted and sent to combat in SE Asia. You're right, Solomon, this is sure to be the end on Obama.

  2. well playing devils advocate, no where on their page ... i'm talking about the special ops speaks website...are they endorsing Romney. all they're saying is that Obama needs to silence all the leaks.

politics aside they have a point.

  3. Apparently, you didnt read THE FIRST LINE FROM THEIR MISSION STATEMENT:

    "Mission

Honorably discharged veterans of the Special Operations communities of all the Armed Services have organized an effort to elect Mitt Romney President of the United States. This group, “Special Operations Speaks,” or “SOS,” will be structured along quasi-military lines, with an umbrella organization coordinating the efforts of several subordinate Service-unique specialties"

SO, clearly...no politics aside on this one, I love your tech stuff, but posts like this make you look foolish.

  5. I do like it, as I said, I love your tech stuff. And I would think you may be thankful that I alerted you to the fact that you were touting a pro-Romney group without apparently realizing it.

  7. Fair enough, my point is this group are just partisans pushing political ideology having nothing to do with military affairs...if a bunch of vets were touting McCain, a legitimate hero that would be one thing...anyone who called Clinton a draft dodger better be ready to paint Mitt with the same brush and my bet is they won't because...its all partisan hackery

  8. They are no longer serving, so it's fair game as far as I'm concerned.

  11. i would say that just because some former special operators are against Obama doesnt mean all, the military is as diverse as the country, seems like swift boating of John Kerry. i wish we could run on peoples records and accomplishments and ideas and not political party or frivolous ideology.

  12. are you trying to deny that Obama appears to have released state secrets to benefit his campaign? not even the first guy addressed that point.

  13. i dont know if he did or not, the FBI is investigating and considering how easy it is to leak information i am sure we will find out but leaking for political reasons is not uncommon (i.e. valerie plame). its wrong no matter who does it, but this group said their purpose is to get mitt Romney elected, that makes them more about politics than national security in my opinion. Its also very possible someone in the admin leaked it but not him,a gain i dont know but not going to make judgements based on inflammatory statements, conjecture and guesses.
