Foxhound...the Brits better JLTV.

  1. The US Army and US Marines already have a Foxhound like vehicle, which is the M-ATV and Oshkosh has a lighter version that has commonality, the L-ATV and is in the JLTV competition.

  2. Foxhound is in service in AFG for a substantially less cost. Report from British Army on vehicle are good.

    1. I have been trying to find information that shows a £900,000 ($1.4 million) per unit cost Foxhound is cheaper than a £293, 694 ($470,000 - $546,500 current unit cost) M-ATV. If I have my figures wrong please let me know where to look.

    2. Check out the Australian Army's prefered option for their Project Overlander known as HAWKIE. The original 3 shortlisted US JTLV vehicles and the Ocelot(Foxhound) were both losing candidates.
