But as far as hatred and vitriol? Damn right. I adapt to the type of war I'm involved in. I won't fight with one hand tied behind my back... so I WILL give as good as I get.
If I actually WAS sponsored by Lockheed Martin, I'd have to be MUCH more gentle in how I approach things.

*What's really awesome is that I've been accused of being on the payroll of BAE, Lockheed, General Dynamics, Sikorsky, Augusta Westland...basically everyone except the Russian and Chinese design houses. I've even been accused of being overly enthused by an offering from FNSS...I must be doing something right huh?
i like your blog Sol because you call it how you see it, and you support the F35 but call bullshit when people start to fuck up acquisition, and you call bullshit on all sides, so if you ever were sponsored by LM you would have been fired a long time ago, lol.
ReplyDeleteI always love when people start personal attacks against me when i get in debates with people (never had that here, hence why i enjoy the debates), but personal attacks means they are intellectually impotent, they have no other logical arguments so try to get them to make emotional arguments as well, you refuse to do that, and thats to your credit! :)
Hey bro, I asked if you worked for Sikorsky out of genuine curiosity! ELP has a long and storied history of bullshit. Unlike your site Sol, comments must be preapproved by Eric himself, and you can bet that he is too much of a coward to let anyone's views but his own be heard. He and his followers live in a bubble and he is a huge promoter of the terribly fictional (but pretty to look at) Air power Australia.
ReplyDeleteIf someone says something he doesn't like then they are sponsored by somebody. An Australian site recently posted a report by the US CBO. He responded by claiming the site was on the payroll of the defense contractors when all they were doing was passing on a government study
I would highly encourage anyone who appreciates SNAFU! to go to his blog and say your piece (though he won't probably wont post it) at the very least look at some of the comments for the LULZ.
