There is some talking in the DEW Line blog about a new version of the F-35 to replace the F-15E Strike Eagle.It is not the first time i read about this.Israel is pushing for a 2 seats version with CFT... By 2025/30 there will F-35s everywhere...i wonder what we will think of the detractors. I still remenber in the early 1980s everybody was against the Hornet...Congress wanted to shut down the project,critics said it lacked the range and it underperformed and the Navy wanted to run from it to save the F-14 buys and upgrades...30 years later same thing...
