This is what the authorities fear.
A military and law enforcement trained individual going on a rampage.
He's already killed a couple of people and he knows law enforcement and military tactics inside and out (apparently).
I don't condone this guys actions but imagine if you had a group of guys that decided to do this? They could shut down a region of the US.
Homeland Security better up its game....

ReplyDeleteoh i'm well aware of that. but that doesn't negate the fact that i talked a little while ago about people becoming radicalized. i contend this guy became radicalized and is now taking lone wolf action. what happens when a group of guys with the same or better training follow suit? it doesn't matter what the belief systems are, what matters is the level of training and the will to carry out whatever mad scheme they have.

ReplyDeleteImagine a small cell of terrorists in every major city staging Mumbai-type attacks. It would paralyze most cities and so overload the system it would be impossible for LE agencies to sustain as they rushed around tactical teams to do searches every time a credible report came over the radio.
Hit a school one day, a shopping mall the next, a electric substation another, then a heavily used commuter highway. Our systems is so fragile it is a wonder it doesn't collapse.
exactly right! but guess what. when this idiot goes to the local 7-eleven to stock up on food or whatever an armed citizen could take him down...oh wait...this is happening in Kalifornia and they disarmed their slaves...i mean citizens.
