I've seen this video in many main stream news stories and on both conservative and liberal blogs.
The sheeple are just waking up to the fact that Homeland Security is gearing up...for what no one knows but if you add all the ammo purchases with the "personal defense weapons" (read that to mean AR-15's) along with these armored vehicles then its obvious that a serious militarization of domestic security forces is well under way.
Most Americans are too caught up in gossip, movie/singing stars, the latest television show, consumerism or nonsense to even notice.
While tossing a few back, it dawned on me (yeah I was late to it) that Obama is just forming his national domestic security force...only thing is that buffoon Bush handed him the keys and the idiots in Homeland Security were only too happy to drive the bus.
Boys with new toys. MRAPS, cool new guns and badass looking unis. Now all we need is an enemy. But all we have are citizens. Wait a minute.. what if some of them are up to no good? Like an unpaid tax bill or something. Yeah. Those bastards! That could be like, ya know, a terrorist act! Lets go in heavy!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, we are seeing more and more of this mindset since 9/11 It is alienating the populace from the police. Some LEOs (mostly sheriff types) are starting to see this and react to it. What happened to Theo Kojak and Sgt Joe Friday? Now every guy with a badge wants to be the next "Die Hard" hero. "To Protect and Serve" has been replaced with "To regard with paranoia and suspicion"
spot on, but that just makes the circle close even more quickly. the police have an us against them attitude when it comes to criminals but what happens when an average citizen is looked at as being criminals too?
Deletei expect the trouble to start over a raid on the wrong house and a man defending his family gets killed by DHS. from that moment on the hatred will flow and won't stop. DHS will have a target on their backs from that moment on...i fully expect TSA and DHS to be drastically be reformed within the next 10 years. either that or we go completely fascists.
