It has very similar specs to the Super Puma, which is a 35 year old design, and Eurocopter helped them design it. However, it's a bit heavier because it's fitted with light armor and thus it's slower, with less range, ceiling, etc. than a Super Puma. For export there is a joint venture with Eurocopter.
