Nice pic of the M30/M31.
ReplyDeleteHell yea, steel rain. I hope they use the rockets with the cluster munitions. They would be great to use in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteVery funny. That has been reported as defamation. It doesn't belong here either as Sol would not tolerate such an insult to his guests. Pretty amazing cowardice. As for the topic of the post; yes, great fire support. And another reason why the troops don't care where the fire support comes from just as long as it happens. HIMARS can erase whole pieces of real estate.
ReplyDeleteAh yes the rockets. The only problem we have had with rockets is that it took the grunts so long to discover the beauty of these guys. Rockets have been steadily replacing air strike in Afghanistan pretty much every year.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot less effort to maintain a rocket battery than it does air side. Small UAVs and GMLRS are how to conduct precision fires on the cheap.
