I served with the RAF regiment and the rockapes are great guys. Ask the IRA. I understand that they have been upgrading their “kit”; I felt bad for them and had to “lend” equipment. The poster must be photoshoped, her majesty would not be pleased.
without a doubt its photoshopped but i have a hard on for the RAF Reg. the chest thumping they did about repelling the attack on Camp Bastion/Leatherneck was unbearable especially considering that their was a complete security breakdown that still hasn't resulted in anyone being punished.
The onsite security for Camp Bastion is not The Regiment's Role, they are there to protect RAF assets from Patrolling around the Camp for 1oo's of KM, the responded as they where their at the time, as for the picture just the usual jealousy from idiots who wished they had a real job makes me sick that all Armed forces cant recognise the role they all do, dont mind the piss take and banter but this pic is out of order. www.rafregiment.net
