Well, Amos is corrupt and the USAF Chief of Staff is a complete tool. I don't know much about the Army's Chief.
ReplyDeleteI personally like Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Greenert. He wrote in the July 2012 Proceedings Magazine that stealth isn't going to last us into the future and, although his article never mentions the F-35C, it gives every indication that he doesn't want the Navy to buy it. He allowed his office to support the Advanced Super Hornet Program by Boeing. I am pretty certain that he is fighting the Pentagon to try and allow the Navy to buy more Super Hornets, he just does his fighting sneakily.

Deletethe Navy will find a way out of this I guarantee. they don't want the F-35 and aren't willing to shed ships it needs in order to pay for a plane it doesn't.

ReplyDeletei read that and i notice that the KC-46 has a place of prominence ahead of the F-35 on his list. of course all this is before the full power of the sequester hits and that will change everything.
Deletei don't know how much i like todays Marine Corps. i know i hate its leader but i'm not sure that the lead are as bad. and i'm not sure they're better.
but a full scale house cleaning might be whats needed. either way i won't shed a tear when it gets chopped to 150,000 boatspaces.
