A radical muslim country, with ties to terrorist is being given the keys to nuclear technology from China, and it ain't Iran!

Thanks for the article Samar!

What happens when a radical muslim country, with not only ties to terrorists but has been known to harbor terrorists on their own soil, whose intelligence agencies have been proven to train, fund and equip enemies of the US and our State Dept does nothing?  I don't know but its happening as we speak....and it ain't Iran.  Check this out from the Times of India.
EW DELHI: China will be able to sidestep global nuclear commerce rules when it sells its third generation nuclear reactors to Pakistan, making its sale a win-win deal for both countries.
China has reverse-engineered Westinghouse's AP-1000 reactor to build an indigenous reactor, which, officials said, is a clever copy of the original. With Pakistani nuclear officials travelling several times this year to China as they work on a contract, the "indigenized" Chinese reactor will help Beijing overcome a key objection by the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) that forbids sale of nuclear reactors or components to third countries without NSG approval and without an NPT signature.

Its obvious to me that India is turning into one of the more important nations in Asia.  Not only are they a bulwark against China but they might be our best hope to keep Pakistan in a cage.

Confidence is not high however.  We have an inept State Dept, a weak Pentagon and a President that is naive when it comes to international diplomacy.

Yep.  We're fucked.

NOTE:  Pakistan is another of those countries we need to have a come to Jesus meeting on.  They've aided our enemies, have not been a friend and its time to give them (at the very least) the Iran treatment.

NOTE 1:  When are we going to start smacking Western corporations upside the head for selling advanced technology to China just so they can copy it?  When are we going to get real on dual use technology to those thieves?

    1. whats wrong with me? first i never called for nuking anyone. second, the evidence is there if you care to look at it.

      1. India has been fighting terrorist backed by Pakistan along their line of control with Pakistan. those terrorist are funded and equipped by the Pakistani Intelligence services.
      2. remember the SEAL raid into Pakistan? a known terrorist, the man behind the 9/11 attacks was living in the country as free as a kitten. we didn't tell Pakistan because we know that they are working with the Taliban...
      3. speaking of working with the Taliban, the US is working to stabalize Afghanistan, yet our allies, the Pakastani's are aiding the very people that we're fighting.

yeah, the real question is what is wrong with you.

  2. Pakistan has a severe power crisis. The power is off as much as it's on, which endangers peoples' health and shuts down factories. The US has not allowed Pakistan to import Iran gas as an energy supply, so something has to be done.

The US has buddied up with India, even in Afghanistan, which hes imperiled Pakistan security interests. Pakistan, although there are some signs of friendship, is an historic mortal enemy of India. Pakistan doesn't want India in Afghanistan on its western flank, and China has always supported Pakistan. Naturally the Times of India is concerned.

  3. 1) Pakis already have nukes, with saudis (dear allies huh...) material help (oil, money). So it's toŠ¾ late to drink mineral water when kidneys are decayed. It's fact muslims have WMD, I can only wonder what they up to do.
    2) About 9/11 and other Bin Laden shit, i will rather thrust to some conspirancy theorists. I really wait when you will begin to think by yourself.

    1. ok. then why don't you tell us the real deal behind the 9/11 attacks. i've heard everything from Bush, the CIA, Jews, the Pentagon and China being the real doers of the deed.

why is it so hard to believe that 19 hijackers fighting for AQ, hijacked airplanes and killed Americans?

    2. I don't believe neither in conspiracy and government theories, they are equal in number of technical and logic controversies. I only see that some one played the same game they always played. And innocents are dead as always.

  5. This is not such a big deal in terms of nuclear proliferation because Pakistan already has nukes. The only real concern is the safety of the CAP1000 nuclear reactor, which I understand will be substituding with local parts to get around the US boycott of the deal. If you thought Fukushima was bad, then wait until it happens in a 3rd world country.

  6. You can't stop China from copying anything. It doesn't matter if it was sold to them or not, China will find ways and means to reverse-engineer anything. Nothing can stop them and NO ONE DARES to stop them.

This is something I really can't get my head around. US government prosecutes anyone (individual) torrenting music/videos and/or software but as soon as China starts to copy and reverse-engineers something, like a nuclear reactor and their components, the US government turns a blind eye.

  7. Dear Solo, just read somewhere that China has copied Boeing Apache too...can you confirm...why is it that easy for China to show middle finger to IPR of any country including USA?

    1. I saw that pic recently of a "Apache" on a flatbed truck in China. People are suspecting it's a replica because a lot of features just isn't making sense.

  8. Pakistan already have nuclear weapons and technologies supplied by USA. Too late to shift blame to China.
