    2. More-so for the Rafale.

Aside from the shaky Indian order, they have had Zero export sales.

Brazil was about to sign, but then their economy tanked and they don't have the cash.

France is betting alot on the UAE going for the Rafale to replace it's Mirage 2000s, but France is one nation, while the whole EU, minus France, is backing the Typhoon.

  2. Much worse ! Almost all of typhoon that are in service need costly upgrade to new standard, in contrary of rafale and F18. F18 is already sold all over the world so the question is just to maintain plant in Us, where the problem for spain, germany, england and italy is to lower the final price per unit below the price of the F35 ( I've heard about 210 M€ per typhoon)
Rafale, the problem is to maintain plant in France, and to make foreign country pay for all Rafales Upgrades..

  3. Yes, most Typhoons aren't even Block 3 standard, which is full capability.

It is embarrassing for a jet the went into service a decade ago to just now have full capability.

Oh, and NO AESA radar for the Typhoon.

    1. Aesa is coming soon for Typhoon, and will increase another time his price if nobody order new typhoon equipped with.
Typhoon program managing was a mess...

  4. The aircraft makes a good reference threat analog of the SU-35. If the F-35 can beat a Typhoon it can beat that reference threat. Problem is that a 4 v 4 Typhoon v F-35 would turn out badly for the F-35.
