The Sabalauski Air Assault School (101st Abn) Foot March Equipment Layout.

"Ready for inspection Air Assault Sergeant!“ Students have 10 minutes to prepare their gear for inspection.

All items must be laid out "as worn" with all buttons, zippers, name tapes, patches, and Velcro fastened. Or you will receive points!

Students must use a stencil when writing their roster number on their canteen and helmet. Each team has a different color so the numbers are not all done in black ink. Students often must redo their roster numbers during the course to keep it neat.

Tape must be cut neatly and go from the plastic line on the canteen across to the opposite plastic line

  2. It pisses me to see soldiers still wearing that spackle/bird shit camo. Big Army should be ashamed of themselves for forcing soldiers to consider deploying in such a vulnerable.

Let me just posit something: if we were forced to go to war in Ukraine, our soldiers would stick out like sore thumbs and be easy pickings fhor enemy Forward Observers./Snipers/MG Teams

    2. It would depend on the unit and how fast they were rolled out. Multi-Cam is still pretty much restricted by the Army for wear in Afghanistan and it does not stock enough for every unit that would deploy to Ukraine to have it.

    3. and MC doesn't work well in temperate areas. Better than Bird shit camo, but not much since it is too light in color.

Big Army screwed up when it didn't reveal the winner of the Camouflage Phase IV trials. Dolts

  3. "Bird Shit" Camo...lol, I hadn't heard that one yet. I'm just glad I got out before the new AF digital tiger-Tommy Bahama crap...even with pen/pencil pocket glory. The Marine Corps got it right. Everyone else was just pissed off they figured it out first.
