Patient hospitalized in Dallas with Ebola symptoms.

via SHTF Plan.
In a statement released Monday evening, a spokesperson for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas said the patient is undergoing evaluation for Ebola based on the patient’s symptoms and recent travel history.
Further details on the patient were not released due to medical confidentiality and personal privacy reasons.
“The hospital is following all Centers for Disease Control and Texas Department of Heath recommendations to ensure the safety of patients, hospital staff, volunteers, physicians and visitors,” according to the hospital’s statement. (Source: NBC DFW & MyFox)
This is madness.

Why we haven't instituted a quarantine of that area is beyond me.

Additionally not releasing details of the patient when its a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY is beyond me.  He could have started a biological wildfire in the DFW area and many of those people will be on the move.

We're headed toward several Oct surprises.

  1. As long as you follow basic standard medical procedure, Ebola isn't an issue. 1. It is only spread through bodily fluid contact. 2. By time you're contagious, you're already near death and in an ER.

    1. Wrong. The CDC's own fact sheet says that Ebola can be spread through the air within 3-4 feet. If a mutation has increased that range, even a little, then the current guidelines are going to be useless.

And yet its swarmed across west Africa and made its way to the US.

    1. well said. additionally children are being afflicted with a virus that appears to have mutated and is causing paralysis.

i don't trust medical personnel as far as i can throw them. civilian doctors spout the party line without doing a bit of thinking. they follow trends and the latest hot thing more closely than brain dead teenagers.

this is a threat to our national security and the State Dept allowed it by letting these sick people into the country and not quarantining any visitor from those infected coutnries in Africa.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT RACE. ITS NOT ABOUT BIAS. ITS ABOUT PROTECTING THE UNITED STATES FROM A DEADLY VIRUS.

but instead of thinking, people will automatically default to the politically correct position.

    2. It spread across Western Africa because the medical standards there are zero, where there have been riots to steal infected medical supplies, where families are refusing to bring relatives to the hospital because they fear the government will kill them, where infected bodies have been washed by family members and neighbors before burial, yeah: no wonder it spread across western Africa. I never said it had anything to do with race, it spread because of lack of infrastructure and education. Nor does it have anything to do with being politically correct, its about understanding the mechanics of Ebola and how basic sanitation can stop this outbreak instantly.

    3. Imo the main problem in America is not the virus per se, but the panic.
Sure, the virus may cause a serious problem, but if the government do things right, will be easy to control it, unless people go ape shit and fuck shit up.

      Dafuq is wrong with blogspot?

  3. Yea, Ebola can be easily controlled by following standard medical protocols - something that cannot be easily done in 3rd world countries without modern medical infrastructure (or counterproductive cultural customs and practices.) This is not Influenza; Ebola vectors are not very efficient.

  4. I wonder how easy it is to catch Ebola via needle sharing?
