the USMC still uses the M-16A4. personally i'd like to see the M4 carbine removed from USMC service and a M-16A5 developed that follows the canadian model of simply putting an adjustable buttstock and improved furniture on the thing....and then wait for lasers to come out.
Solomon, the soldiers here are using M-16 rifles. Is this an old picture ?

DeletePersonally, are you comfortable with the 5.56 current calibre or do you think a shift is required to any other calibre before "the lazers" come ?
