  1. This was what I'm worried about. China and Russia buddying up. Can the US afford to play in the Pacific and Europe at the same time? I have my doubts.

    1. Don't worry, just a business deal nothing more. Chinese don't have buddies, they have business partners and they already show many times that they play only in one team that is Team China and they are single member of it. Not to mention they show couple of time that they don't respect Russians and they will not play for them.

  2. Shas, most if not all countries play only for themselves that’s the way of international relations, they are mostly based on geopolitical or economic self-interest, do you think the US is willing to defend the European parasites just out of good will? that doesnt mean they cant become allies. Love or Respect are not needed for cooperation or alliances, the French and the British hated each other and yet in 1907 (8 years after they were on the brink of war in Sudan) they allied to stop the Germans. When I see the Russians and the Chinese cuddling I worry a lot. Russia and China share good common ground, are we going to see something more than petty friendship rhetoric, who knows? But dont underestimate their intentions.

    1. Don't overestimate it... US have allies, what Allies have China? They are not joined in any type of long term relation or pact with anyone, they don't seek one nor want to create one. China was always single team player. Chinese use Russia for it's own goal but there is a 0 chance that they would ally with them.

    2. China has Pakistan as Allies and there has been a lot of tension lately in the Pakistan Indian area. If there is another Indian Pakistan war China will be involved one way or another. It will help Pakistan with arms or more than likely join in. WW3 is just around the corner or maybe its started already. China has been building up its forces in the Northern Frontiers as of last year and India is now responding. http://thediplomat.com/2014/08/india-china-border-engagement/

  3. Define "ally". Although Japan and Germany were allies in WW2, there was in fact very little interaction worth anything...with the exception of Hitler's insane choice to declare war on the US. Actual military cooperation was restricted to a few minor bits of technical advice. But by the sheer fact that the Allied (US/Brit) forces had to split their forces against two foes on opposite sides of the Earth was a great help to both Japan and Germany.
